Meet Buffy Gourley Nurse Practitioner

Meet Buffy Gourley one of our Nurse Practitioners at the Family Health Team. Buffy is full time at the clinic and has fifteen years experience in primary care as a Nurse Practitioner. She started her nursing career twenty-four years ago in remote northern communities working in labor and delivery and emergency medicine.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 at Lakehead University and then earned her Master of Science Degree at Laurentian University.
As a primary care NP, she has the training, knowledge and skills to treat the whole family from infancy to elderly.
She is currently completing an Acute Care NP Program through the University of Toronto.
Her interest include Chronic Disease Management, Palliative Care and Women’s Health.
